A shady corner

I'm slightly delayed but on Thursday 6th I was also working on a shady corner, weeding out ash tree seedlings, young brambles & taking ivy and grass out of an old stone wall. A yew (Taxus baccata) had unusually self seeded itself part into soil and into a wall. I dug it up, potted it and put it in the Begonia house where they can sit on a heated mat. I will be keeping an eye on it and seeing if it will have rooted in about two weeks. I also cut back some Centranthus ruber as close to it's basal stump as possible (Valerian; not to be confused with the herb Valeriana officinalis).
