Spring bedding - Queen of Night - a constellation of tulips

Tuesday 13th
Weather: Overcast, cloudy but very warm

We planted dark purple almost black Tulipa 'Queen of Night' in what we call the Rose Hovel beds where swathes of blue Lupin 'The Governor' and yellow Lupin 'Russell Chandelier' have already been planted.

Then we worked on another section in the Long Border, where there is a Choisya x dewitteana 'Aztec Pearl' & Weigela. We took out Tropaeolum majus (nasturtiums), cut down Lychnis coronaria, dug out & stored Canna 'Mystique'.
